About me
Dr. Heather Lauver is a specialist in global health policy and healthcare, having spent most of her career advising pharmaceutical companies and their non-profit partners on health strategies. Her latest focus has been on fostering policies related to clean water, specifically researching approaches to 1,4-dioxane mitigation and prevention. She is the President of HealthSpec, LLC, a global healthcare and environmental advisory firm preparing leaders to thrive in complex regulatory and environmental climates. She has more than 25 years of experience advancing environmental, social, and governance issues for corporate and non-profit institutions worldwide, including Pfizer, Inc. and the Aspen Institute. Heather earned her doctorate at the Nebraska Methodist College of Nursing, her BA in Biology from Grinnell College, her MPH from the Yale School of Medicine, her MBA from the Zicklin School of Management (Baruch College), and her ADN in Nursing at Norwalk Community College. Her latest paper, “Nor Any Drop to Drink,” is available through Public Health Nursing. When not working, she spends time with her family in Connecticut.
