About me
What is it about your work in global health that matters to you?
What distinguishes your work?
What makes a partnership real?
Teresa is Director of Development and Communications at the IU Center for Global Health, where she leads fundraising and communications in support of one of the world’s most impactful global health partnerships, AMPATH. She brings more than two decades of experience helping mission driven organizations grow by connecting people to purpose in ways that are authentic, strategic, and built to last.
Teresa’s career includes NGO leadership roles in global health, early childhood education, nurturing our environment, community improvement, and public policy as well as fundraising consulting. She helps organizations strengthen their fundraising by focusing on what makes them distinctive rather than defaulting to one size fits all solutions. Her approach is one that respects the donor as a true partner in the work.
A purpose driven professional, Teresa harbors a special appreciation for people who are curious and ask questions, delights in a good comeback story, practical jokes, funny pet videos, and has an unrealized dream to raise a baby opossum.
