About me
Dr. Kazadi is working with World Vision US, as the Senior Technical Advisor for Health System Strengthening and under this role he cultivate and strengthen strategic partnerships with various donor agencies, institutions, and individuals internationally to increase World Vision (WV) ministry and disseminate WV technical brand. He also work with public/private programming teams to strengthen technical oversight, including standard setting, tools development, capacity building, and monitoring and evaluation, document findings/research (publication/presentation).
Before joining World Vision US, Dr. Kazadi served as Chief of Party and principal investigator for Center for Disease Control Project under Catholic Relief Services, Epidemic Control 90/90/90 project. Dr. Kazadi has extensive experience managing complex programs with multiple partners as consortium members.
Previously, Dr. Kazadi had served as Global Senior Technical Advisor for HIV and Health System Strengthening with Catholic Relief Services, where he supported more than 100 countries program in HIV services delivery and health system strengthening and represented CRS at the UNAIDS Board for 7 years. He was AIDSRelief Chief of Party in Uganda, managing a PEFPAR-funded HIV and AIDS program. He had also worked in Haiti, where he led the process of recovery and stabilization after the earthquake in 2010. Before moving to Haiti, he worked as a pediatric HIV and AIDS mentor in Ethiopia. In Zambia, Dr. Kazadi was among the first to oversee anti-retroviral treatment of HIV positive people and initiated the first ever Pediatric ART Guidelines in Zambia. Dr. Kazadi supported and contributed to local partner’s systems improvement, specifically faith mission networks and hospitals that led them to becoming prime on PEPFAR funding. He worked with host governments to ensure integration of system with mission hospital for better services outcome at community level.
Dr. Kazadi was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where he obtained his Degree in Medicine from University of Lubumbashi. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Public Heath from University Of Lorraine, France. He completed a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with Atlantic International University of Hawaii (2012). He has a PhD in Clinical Research from Nicaragua Central University (2021). He speaks English, French, Swahili, Lingala, Tshiluba and several other languages.
Dr. Kazadi is currently member of the Advisory Board Committee at Villanova University, member of the International AIDS Society, the American Academy of HIV Medicine, the Clinical Care Option, and many other technical working groups. He also served as Co-Chair of HIV/AIDS working Group at CORE Group for three years (2013-2016).
